There is no doubt that Nyoko has a naturally cheerful personality. Definitely an optimist, she is strong willed and is not afraid to speak her mind; these traits define her as a straight-forward person. Nyoko is very enthusiastic about things that catch her eye and will act upon it almost immediately. She is eager to get involved with most things, not liking being on her own for long. Naturally she is rather teasing, and known to be good with words. Where she generally appears cheerful Nyoko is simply good at keeping her emotions in check and only allowing others to see what she wants.
Nyoko could also be said to have a rebellious side, having some consideration for rules, but not all the time. And is definitely not against breaking them if the situation calls for it. Much to Reiji’s dislike. Adapting to living in the house has caused Nyoko to become quieter than she would be otherwise. She has learnt the less attention she draws to herself the better. She continues to keep her emotions in check not wanting to look weak.

Nyoko’s birth was hardly welcomed by her mother though by her father. Perhaps she hadn’t exactly been planned, or maybe there were other reasons since once her younger twin siblings were born her mother was the same. Nyoko didn’t understand at such a young age. 
At first she went to school like all of the other children her age, she had friends, had a close bond with her siblings and father, the only difference was she had one loving parent, despite the fact that both were there. She was an overall happy child, and Nyoko came to an age where she accepted that the relationship she held with her mother was different, although slowly she seemed to get a little closer with them, though it took years. This changed when their father passed away in a car crash. Nyoko 12 years old, and her siblings 7, it became clear very quickly that her mother was not fit to look after them after this and they were soon taken away and while placed in care together for a few years ultimately ended up in an orphanage.
Not wanting to be separated from her siblings ended up keeping them in care for longer, however they were actually treated very well where they were. When it suddenly dawned on Nyoko that in another year she would legally be an adult she felt it made sense for her siblings to stay in foster care with a new family together until she could find somewhere for them and then clam back custody. However with the promise of education and a place to stay Nyoko was handpicked from the orphanage to reside in the Sakamaki household. She thought she had been extremely lucky, until she arrived.

Nyoko is still unaware of Subaru’s past. At first, just like all of the brothers, Subaru terrified her. Maybe even more so than some of the others. He threatened her to keep her away, and seeing the aftermath of when he lost his temper made her extremely weary of him. However, slowly she saw the softer side that Subaru is capable of having. She has come to feel slightly safer as Subaru doesn’t take joy in seeing her cry or in pain. She gently tries to get him to open up to her, but with little luck so far.

Having learnt that it was better to keep to herself in the house Nyoko found herself looking for someone she could be around. Shu doesn't seem to mind her being in a room with him, or around while he's sleeping because she doesn't make an awful lot of noise. She has found Shu can actually have some proper conversations when he isn't hung up on catching up on sleep. Nyoko has found him to be very intelligent with certain things, he has even stopped his brothers from biting her on more than one occasion.

Despite appearances Nyoko is a cheerful and bubbly person. This is noticeable almost immediately after speaking with her. She enjoyed joking around and teasing others, she can often be a little cheeky in the way that she speaks to others. Never wanting to take things too seriously when she’s around her friends she can relax and completely be herself. When it comes to her work though she is very attentive.
Nyoko is a very considerate person, and she often puts others needs before her own, and she makes a habit out of taking responsibility for others actions. She is curious in nature, wanting to know why things happen, and shows genuine interest when people play other instruments that she doesn’t know how to. This makes her a good listener, though she gets slightly irritated if she isn’t listened to in return. It takes a lot to make the female angry, and will only ever get irritated with herself rather than with others. However if she does happen to get angry at someone, it will take her a long time to forgive.

Nyoko had originally thought of entering the academy but taking the composer track. This is mainly because she loves writing complex and different guitar riffs. However she soon changed her mind when she realised that the heavier styles of music in general were being neglected as a whole in the school.
Being in the same class as the ever friendly Ittoki she soon became friends with him as she had a very friendly personality herself. Next she became close with Syo. This is because they share a similar style, they both will wear punk clothes, although for Nyoko it is more when she is preforming. The fact that she enjoys sport also landed her with these two boys. Although it is safe to assume the first time they heard her music they were surprised.

Tokiya ; Tokiya always helps Nyoko with her work where he can. Even though their styles of music are very different if it's something as simple as having trouble coming up with lyrics he will take her out for the day to get her mind off it. Nyoko is an intelligent young woman. It can be said that she is flexible in her personality. She can change at the drop of a hat to suit the needs of the person in front of her. The only time her real nature shows is when she gets serious, or finds a person truly challenging. Here she becomes much more serious and level headed. It can be noticed that she is rather good at reading people.

As a general rule, Nyoko is somewhat flirtatious and a genuinely happy person. A shy distance away from being considered an expert in pulling strings. A puppeteer in relationships and provocation as she twists situations to make relationships work. It's not done in a negative way, on the contrary she is exceptionally good at getting clashing personalities to work together. Regardless, she still holds an immature demeanor with most things - childishly pushing buttons to get reactions for entertainment.
In short Nyoko is considerate of others, and works well with most people. Despite actually being quite a level headed and determined person she still has a playful, slightly childish side around her close friends.

Nyoko grew up living in the same area as Hayama. Where he is a year ahead of her in school she still was close to him and they knew each other well from a young age. Hearing nothing but great things from the enthusiastic blonde resulted in Nyoko enrolling into Rakuzan. She especially liked the fact that they seemed to take the sports as seriously as the academics. Yet she didn’t realise until she was there just how much pressure was put on the students to excel in both.


Having originally joined the judo club, between her school work and Hayama asking for her to come watch him play basketball Nyoko was feeling a little burnt out. It wasn’t until her tiredness effected her efforts as part of the club that she realised just how harsh these people could be, purely because of how competitive they are. This lead to her quitting, after butting heads with some members in the club, Akashi had noticed how well she can analyse people, and is hoping to have her apply that to the basketball team. So she currently spends quite a lot of time with them as she is no longer in a club.

However the distance would be too far to travel daily from the Miyagi Prefecture where Karasuno is located. So the two knew that they were going to have to move away from home. Since they would have to stay in different areas with on campus accommodation; due to the separate sex dorms. It worked out to be cheaper to find an apartment close to the college and share the rent between them.

Cheerful, easy going, and laid back although extremely stubborn at times. Nyoko doesn't go out of her way to try and please others, or to try a fit others expectations. She believes people you have to try hard to impress often aren’t worth your time. Meaning she comes across as a very natural person.

She possesses a naturally helpful nature, and comes across as very independent. Seeking help isn’t something she’s great at. As well as her easy going nature she has her playful side that comes along with a very quick wit. More than capable of being rather feisty. It's rather harmless when her friends are involved, simply resulting in some teasing. It could even be described as flirtatious at times.
Nyoko does her best to hold a positive outlook on most if not all situations no matter how bleak it may seem. If something does disappoint her she wont openly show it in front of others… but she’ll definitely feel it. It takes a very, very close friend for Nyoko to show any form of negative emotion to. Nishinoya was the first member of the volleyball team she became to know. Nyoko met him while he was banned from his club activities, when training with the local mothers team. Which happened to be in the same area that Nyoko voluntarily couched. She recognised him from school, but didn't know him well. At first she didn’t give it much thought but he soon caught her attention when she saw him train. She couldn’t help but to introduce herself after, praising his play.
Her interest grew and she ended up helping out at some training sessions or practice matches if it was needed. Slowly getting to know the other members and Kiyoko. Volleyball hadn’t really been a sport she had ever looked into before, but the quick play sparked her interest. She hasn’t started playing herself… figuring she might be a bit old to just be starting, but watching matches it can be seen that she can read game play very well, if teams playing have a weakness she is normally quick to spot such. She has a very sporty background, and this can apply to number of sports.

Nyoko initially didn't know what to think of Kuroo. She was first friends with Kenma, being in the same college course she went out of her way to get to know the timid male. She is a year ahead of him, but she remembered him from the open day, and he often seemed to be on his own. Through him she then indirectly met Kuroo. She was unsure exactly what his true nature was like because of all the teasing. Although she  is no stranger to teasing the male right back. Resulting in the two hanging out more. She always has fun with Kuroo and they end up much closer than she would have expected they would. She slowly developed a crush on the male but is worried about him teasing her about it if he found out.

Sugawara is someone Nyoko just loves having as a close friend. She enjoys his company, and finds his calm nature extremely refreshing. He is also extremely easy to talk to, and Nyoko will find herself telling him things that she wouldn't dream of speaking about with other people. He does seem to get her to open up more than others simply because Nyoko feels so relaxed around him. Sugawara looks out for her a lot. However she seems to be confused over her feeling over him and weather they are romantic or not.

Nyoko cares little for what other people think of her. She is always just herself, confident, straightforward, and outspoken. Although she tends to speak her mind it can often get her in trouble. She shares her views on topics, but doesn't disregarding others. However she will be the first to let you know if she disagrees with you.
Nyoko takes her work seriously, but outside of the office she likes being able to take some time out to enjoy herself. It’s noticeable at how she is always cracking jokes, a smirk is generally seen on her lips. Though she has been noted to have a rather black sense of humour. Nyoko graduated top of her glass and made it into the bureau, exactly where she had wanted to end up. Moving around being assigned to a total of three different teams over her time in the bureau Nyoko has worked in the same branch as Kogami for the last year. Where she hasn’t always done a huge amount of field work with his team. Over the last couple of months she seems to work with Karanomori. She is quite skilled when it comes to computers, as she originally wished to work as a systems analyst within the Bureau, but once in she soon found a love for field work. She may not be the best suited to the work though, as it seems she’s easily effected.
Her increasing crime coefficient has also led to Ginoza placing her to work with Karaomori in the office for the last while. But with the increasing level of work that they are getting due to Makishima’s movements she has finally been asked back to her old post.

Roza is very easy going and always appears to be relaxed. She prefers to go with the flow rather than make plans. After all, the best things happen in the spur of the moment - but it causes some of the others to view her as lazy. She is very accepting, and will accept most situations she is in. She is good with kids, much better with people who are younger than her, such as Nai, than those who are older and more serious like Hirato. Since she finds it hard to show a serious side unless involved in a battle.

She has a motherly streak in her, feeling the need to watch out for others, and even take care of them. Roza chooses her words carefully, not wanting to say anything that may offend anyone, as despite how laid back she is, she doesn’t want to give off bad impressions. Still she does not mince her words with those who she takes a disliking too. Which these people she is very straight and almost verging on intolerant. She rarely takes a disliking to someone without a reason though.

Roza worked hard to get into the circus, for many years it was all that she was set on. It was one of the few periods in her life so far that she was more serious about something for such a long time. Now being part of the organisation she has no contact with her family anymore, it is one thing that she didn’t agree with, but she can understand that it is probably more for their safety then anything else. As a result once accepted, and given her place on the second ship Roza knew from there on out that this was her new home and the other members here would be her new family.
Like the other members of circus Roza rarely speaks about her past, it is something that she tends to keep to herself, other then her background, which quite obviously cant be hidden.
